Who we're looking for

You don't need a degree or media experience. How you treat people matters more.

• You listen without judging straight away.
• You write clearly, kindly and as an equal.
• You handle sensitive topics and privacy with care.
• You're reliable – a few steady hours a month beat one big burst.
• You're at least 18 years old.

What you'd do

Everything happens online and on your own schedule.

• Read and sort incoming questions.
• Draft or proofread answers.
• Research guide articles and write them in plain language.
• Flag delicate cases so they get a second review.
• Help with German, French or Spanish translations.

Volunteer work: there is no pay

To be completely upfront: this is voluntary and unpaid. No fee, no salary, no expense allowance. What you do get is real impact. Every good answer reaches someone who confides in no one else – often late at night, often for the first time.
