He swore we’re exclusive, but his Snap score literally shoots up by 300 points every single Friday night while my texts sit on delivered until 2 PM Saturday. Then he acts like I’m paranoid for noticing. Am I supposed to pretend he’s snapping his grandma 150 times at 2 AM? Because it feels like pure bullshit.

Dr Gnoxx answers

You’re not paranoid. A 300-point jump on Snapchat requires hundreds of sent or received snaps, which means he is actively exchanging photos and messages with someone while leaving you on delivered. Whether he’s keeping a roster warm, partying, or flirting with local matches, the core issue is simple: his words say you’re exclusive, but his behavior says he disappears the second the weekend starts. Worse, when you bring up a completely valid mismatch between what he says and what he does, he tries to make you feel irrational. That deflection is usually guilt talking. Constantly checking someone’s score turns you into a detective in your own relationship, and nobody feels good doing that. Drop the forensic evidence and address the actual standard instead. Next time you talk, say directly: “I’m not interested in monitoring your apps, but being ghosted every Friday while you’re clearly active online doesn't line up with being exclusive. That setup doesn't work for me.” How he responds to that boundary will tell you everything. If he gets defensive or mocks you, believe his actions over his promises and cut the cord.
