I literally threw up over an Instagram DM yesterday and my hands won't stop shaking. I booked this solo beach trip to heal from a nasty breakup, met this amazing guy, had the best week, and now he just ghosted me out of nowhere 🙃 Is it normal to physically freak out and puke over a guy you barely know?!

Deep breath, sip some cold water: you aren’t losing your mind, your nervous system just slammed on the emergency brakes. Your emotional battery was already at 2% from the breakup. You went away, let your guard down, and got a huge dopamine rush from vacation romance. When he vanished into thin air, your brain didn't register a missed text—it registered sudden abandonment as an actual life-or-death emergency. That adrenaline dump is why your hands are trembling, and because your gut is packed with nerve endings, sudden shock literally turns your stomach upside down. First aid right now: phone into the hotel drawer. Stand barefoot on the cold floor, press your hands against the wall, and tell yourself: "I am physically safe, and someone else's bad manners cannot break me." Drink some tea, get some fresh air, and remember: someone who ghosts you in paradise isn't a tragic loss—he’s just a coward who saved you the trouble of finding out later.
