I made a burner TikTok to secretly hype my art edits without anyone knowing, and yesterday I found out my entire friend group has an inside joke chat purely dedicated to clowning that exact account. But wait, it gets so much worse: the top hate comment on my latest clip was posted by my own mother while she was literally making toast two feet away from me. How do I even look anyone in the face right now?!

First, take a deep breath and step away from the kitchen: nobody actually knows it's you, which means your artistic dignity is technically still intact, even if your ego just took a direct missile hit. Here’s the wild irony: people only bother to meme things that evoke a genuine reaction. Safe, boring art gets scrolled past in half a second. Your edits were distinct enough to get an entire group chat talking and turn your own mom into an unwitting savage troll over breakfast. It stings like hell because it's your private passion, but remember: they aren't mocking *you*. They are clowning a nameless avatar on an app built for cheap laughs. Your best move right now is tactical detachment. Don’t delete the account in a panic. The next time your friends start laughing about the page, hit them with a totally deadpan: "Honestly, the vibe is chaotic, but you guys are obsessed—they’re living rent-free in your heads." Take the sting out of the joke by staying in control of the secret. Keep creating, keep honing your style, and maybe keep an eye on your mom’s screen time.
