My long-distance boyfriend keeps sending me screenshots of shredded gym guys from Tinder saying 'this is the goal for you.' Are you kidding me? It’s completely messing with my head.

Clear-cut reality check: you are an actual human being, not an IKEA flat-pack to be assembled according to someone’s workout aesthetic.
Sending you Tinder profiles across state lines as "inspiration" isn't cute banter or harmless motivation. It’s bizarre, disrespectful, and frankly a bit cowardly. Long-distance is already tough enough on intimacy without your partner curating your body like an upcoming software update. You don’t put a partner on layaway hoping they turn into a fitness thumbnail.
Next time a screenshot lands in your chat, shut the gallery down immediately. Try something crisp: "I’m your partner, not a custom avatar. If you want to build a boyfriend from scratch, do it in a video game—otherwise, drop the body commentary right now."
If he doubles down or tells you to "take a joke," let him date his camera roll. You deserve someone who craves your real-life skin, not an endless highlights reel.
